Fees and Insurance
Regardless of your goals, you want to plan weekly sessions for at least 6 weeks. Moving to every other week is a reasonable goal if you are stable after that.
Many of my clients continue to schedule, delighted with the results of focusing on their personal growth. Then, they continue to do “as-needed sessions” even after they stop regular sessions.
Other clients want limitations on their work. If you have a single trauma (ie: car accident) that has been the source of PTSD symptoms, we might be able to clear it fully in 3-6 weeks.
If you’d like to do an intensive coaching approach, we can focus on one goal for 4-6 weeks. But we aren’t likely to remove a broad symptom such as depression in 4-6 weeks.
If you have extensive childhood trauma or neglect, please expect to be in therapy for 6 months to 3 years. There is no magic bullet for rebuilding the nervous system.
We will talk about the scope of your treatment and goals at the beginning of treatment.
